About London Academy

The London Academy started in the year of 2019 as a brainchild of two well experienced and qualified teachers: Ms. Amali Kottegoda and Ms. Uthpala Pathirana. They initiated a comprehensive and a result-oriented program to prepare students for Cambridge Ordinary and Advanced level examinations.
The program became a tremendous success uplifting London Academy to be a leading educational institute offering National and International education in both Cambridge Ordinary and Advanced Level Examinations.

In biology, I wasn't the best student as I struggled to retain all the information and details. My biology class made learning biology enjoyable and greatly aided me in my academic endeavors. Instead, than forcing me to simply remember the book, she taught me the principles of biology in a way that made the most sense to me. I didn't really have to do much studying on my part. My studies were very well arranged by the teacher, who made sure I finished the designated lessons before the deadline. She also made sure we had ample time to complete as many past papers as necessary even though we were given a tight deadline, which was what truly helped me. Overall, this course was quite enjoyable for me, and it helped me pass my exam with very good results.

Miss Amali is a great teacher who is very experienced and conveys her knowledge of complex material in an easily understandable manner. I greatly appreciate her level of commitment when it comes to teaching. She always makes time to do a class right before my bio and human bio exams and makes sure I am thorough with all the lessons, which gives me the confidence. She helped me a lot to get those high grades and most of time the highest in class/grade too and I couldn't have done that without her help!
